Accommodation is split between the house & the cottage.
There are 11 available bedrooms in all. The house is a classic Sussex timber framed
farmhouse and was originally built in 1410. The house and buildings are set in
a 3 acre garden which is mostly laid to lawn with a large pond and the grounds are
surrounded by woods and open farmland all set in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The house has 8 bedrooms, two kitchens and three inglenook fireplaces. It is decorated in
period style as all the rooms have oak beams and look out over rolling countryside. The
entire house is centrally heated for complete comfort throughout the year. The main
kitchen is adjacent to the dining room which is open 24 hours a day. Facilities include a
microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster etc. for midnight snacks. All main meals are prepared
by our chef who caters for all types of dietary preference. The dining room can seat a
maximum of 26 people.
There are no set meal times. We work to your schedule. In the summer we have barbecues
by the pool and we can erect a marquee if we have over 200 guests. The producer's
cottage is next to the house in front of the studio.
It has three bedrooms,
bathroom and a large living room with a TV, video, stereo and tea and coffee making
facilities. This room is decorated in the cottage style and has a minstrel gallery and
comfortable seating for 8. The cottage also has central heating and is used as the bands
private living room or separate accommodation for producers or families who want to live
together. In front of the cottage there is an open courtyard with garden furniture.
This little house can be used as an exclusive residence for headline musicians or is ideal
for artistes with families. Complete privacy is assured.
