The Blue Studio |
| A new addition to the Stanbridge complex is the
Blue Studio and it offers a more intimate sound. This self contained building is entirely
separate from the big studio and is situated approximately 25 metres away.
The control room is roomy and is able to accommodate guitarists/bassists etc. who wish to work from the control room. A good selection of microphones, effects, gates, compressors and monitors are configured around the 32 channel in line desk with 32 track monitoring. At the time of going to press we use 20 bit ADATs and DAT Mastering & find the results more than acceptable for most discerning musical applications. It is our policy to update and improve our equipment all the time so please ask for our equipment list if you have a specific technical requirement. We regularly use all the major hire companies so if there is anything you require it can be here the same day. We can tie line the two rooms together, with audio and video, if the need
arises to use the big studio. |
The Blue
Studio has an Art Deco feel about it. The windows look out over farmland and pleasant
views bring daylight into the rooms. Subtle uplights and downlights provide the perfect,
comfortable, working environment for the writer or recording artiste. The live room is
approximately 400 sq. ft, offering ample room to set up a whole band. Soft panels on the
wall can be removed to adjust the room's acoustics from a tight to a more open sound.
